PRO SEAL FUEL TANK REPAIR PUTTY
STEEL HARD PERMANENT REPAIR SOLUTION 0.7oz (20g) tube

Fuel Tank Repair Putty is a non-rusting, steel reinforced epoxy putty that mixes in one minute to provide a fast permanent repair to items made of ferrous metals and aluminium. Fuel Tank Repair Putty is supplied in a handy rod form with the curing agent encapsulated in the contrasting colour base material. Its putty-like consistency eliminates drips and runs providing a 'no mess' application with no tools required for use. Fuel Tank Repair Putty dries to a dark grey colour which can be overpainted if required.

PRODUCT USAGE
Fuel Tank Repair Putty can be used on both petrol and diesel tanks.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE
In order to obtain optimum adhesion, surface should be free of grease, oil and dirt. Twist or cut off the required amount of putty and mix by kneading with the fingers until a uniform colour is obtained. If mixing is difficult warm the putty to room temperature or slightly above. Then apply to the surface to be repaired within 2 minutes of mixing. Force into any cracks or fissures etc. then remove excess material preferably with a tool wetted with clean water. When applying to damp or slowly leaking areas, work material forcefully into the surface and apply pressure until adhesion begins to take effect. For a smooth finish hand rub with water or a damp cloth prior to hardening and remove excess material before hardening begins. After 5 - 10 minutes the epoxy will begin to harden and form a bond to the surface. After 30 minutes the putty will be completely hardened and can be drilled, sanded and/or painted.
